The Position
The individual will first be trained extensively in the products, technologies and standards used within the company. After successful training the individual will be included in the development of the range of products for the Maritime Industry. Additional to technical challenges, this will require the individual, to become familiar with marine related terms, concepts and working procedures. As a full member the individual will be deployed both for development in the office and customer site.

For candidates living outside Limassol we facilitate with 1-2 days per week home office.
SOFTimpact is a vertical solution provider delivering SW (Desktop/Web/Mobile) to the Maritime industry in Cyprus and abroad. Due to ongoing expansion and portfolio growth the company is looking to extend the SW development team with several positions, including a Senior Business SW Developer with a focus on Web development using Java for the backend.

The successful candidate must require skills in gaining customer confidence to become their trusted advisor. The principal focus of the work will encompass identifying and working on new propositions for clients, presentations followed by the delivery of consulting engagements. Solution selling makes up a large part of the role. This position requires a self-motivated team player with excellent client facing skills who can demonstrate both commitment and energy. The successful candidate will form the first point of contact for shipping companies, stakeholders and maritime organizations
